NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER
Hello Patchers and Quilters
November brings us another month closer to Christmas but there is still time to make those individual patchwork presents or tree decorations. We have had a great response to our Christmas tree decoration kits since putting them on the web site.
We have been asked for Patchwork Workshops - so we have rallied to the call and are running two workshops in November. They are both in North Yorkshire; the first is on Freiday 23rd November at Lakeside Farm Shop, Ellerton near Northallerton and the second is on Friday 30th November at Carthorpe Village Hall. The cost per person per workshop is £20 - for this we provide all fabrics, embelishments etc needed for you to make TWO Christmas decorations to take home. To all who ordered the October Block of the Month we hope you are happy with your finished block. For November we have chosen a block called 'Garden of Eden' - we though this was appropriate for the autumnal fabric we have chosen for the kit. beautiful autumn golds and greens.
For the children the Block of the Month is called 'Pinwheel' - quite appropriate for November 5th! The fabrics for this block are sparkling navy (for the sky), a multi-coloured whirl pattern for the firework and a golden yellow for the afterglow!
As usual the block kits are £5 plus p and p for the adult block and £3 plus p and p for the junior block. (Fabrics may vary from those shown depending on demand).
The Blocks will be on the web site from the beginning of November. Also in November we are adding fabric to our site. We have just taken delivery of four new designs from the 'Roses Delight' range by Ro Gregg -
'Veranda' # 2935 - a cream fabric scattered with dusky pink roses
'Veranda' # 2936 - a cream fabric with a beige stripe and smaller roses
'Veranda' # 2937 - a deeep rose colour fabric strewn with rose leaves
'Veranda' # 2937- an olive green fabric strewn with rose leaves
To go with these fabrics we have chosen two plains - beige and deep pink. We are itching to get started on some new designs using these fabrics!
Some exciting news for us from 1st November we will have a display/sale stand in the craft area of Lakeside Farm Shop and Cafe. As we are limited for space the stand will be reviewed on a regular basis. For those who have not been to Lakesie you are in for a real treat - not only are there craft stands there is also s cafe selling home made goodies and an outside play area for children. To get there by car - travelling on the A1 take the Catterick exit and follow the B6271 east towards Northallerton. The shop is well signposted from the road. Opening times are November - March - Tuesday to Saturday 10am - 5pm Sunday 10am - 4pm. April to October Tuesday to Satureday 10am - 6pm Sunday 10am - 4pm.

Thursday 22nd November - Staindrop, (near Darlington) Business Enterprise Christmas Fair 6pm - 8pm
Sunday 2nd December - Lakeside Farm Shop (Ellerton near Northallerton) Christmas Fair 10am - 4pm
Sunday 16th December - Victoria Christmas Market, Bowes Museum (Barnard Castel) 10.30am - 4pm.
