Hello Junior Patchers and Quilters.

Thank you for requesting your very own Junior Newsletter.

Over the summer, whilst we have been exhibiting at shows, lots of children showed an interest in learning how to sew patchwork but didn't know where to start.

We listened to what you told us and have come up with the idea of a 'Block of the Month' (or BOTM!).

We will take all the planning and cutting out of the process, so all you have to do is sew it together.  You don't even need a sewing maching!

Every month in our newsletter we will offer you a new design.  There will be no complicated construction. All pieces of fabric will be pre-cut.  Each design can be used for many things - as the basis for a cushion cover, table mat or as a picture OR you can collect all twelve designs and at the end of twelve months (or six months if you can't wait) you can sew them together to make a quilt.

The cost for each pack will be £3.00 plus p&p.

To start you off the first block is called 'Four Patch'.  In the kit there will be full instructions and diagrams.
