JUNIOR JANUARY/FEBRUARY 2008 NEWSLETTER Hello Junior Patchers and Quilters Happy New Year to you all. I am sorry I am late with the January newsletter. I was ill in the New Year and everything is a little late. I had an e mail to say one of you had not received your December Newsletter. If anyone else has not received theirs, please let me know and I will send one out to you. I have combined the January and February newsletter together wirh blocks for January and February, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, but still found time to enjoy some patchwork. Next month I will be visiting a trade fair where I hope to find lots of exciting new fabrics for the blocks. Going to a trade fair is a little like Christmas for me - so much to see! Just before Chritmas Kit and Kaboodle had a stand at Bowes Museum Christmas Fair. It was a lovely day, very busy and very cold. There were Carol singers, jugglers and lots of other exciting stands - some with delicious things to eat and drink. The January Block of the Month is called 'Snowball'. It is made up of only five pieces. The fabrics are blue and a snowmen print. The February Block of the Month is called 'Heart' and is made up of twenty one pieces in red and white fabrics. Both are 12" x 12" when finished. These can be orderd though the web site. Till next month - Happy Sewing Back to Articles |
