Dear Quilters and Patchworkers

Whilst sitting at the kitchen table one day drinking hot chocolate, discussing with friends our latest quilting projects and reminiscing about where we bought our fabrics in the 'old days', it came to light there were no longer as many fabric shops in the area.  Many people relied on local craft fairs to build up their stash of fabrics.  Another point raised was that not everyone wanted to buy fabrics to design their own projects but instead were more happy with kits. 

The germ of an idea was born!  After many discussions and even more hot chocolate we decided to do something about it.

 5.30am one cold February morning found us waiting for a train to take us to our first trade fair to source fabrics. We were overwhelmed by the helpfulness and encouragement of  everyone we encountered and on our return journey made plans for our kits.

We could hardly wait for our supplies to arrive! When the first parcel was delivered it was like Christmas - we were very excited and couldn't wait to put our plans into action.
